Happy New Year, Luv Killz

Do as the toy says: Luv Killz. Happy New Year all crew - here's to even bigger tings in Two-Thousand-And-Sick. Having only just recovered from the Green Lanes New Year 24 hour mash-athon, I dragged myself down to Fabric on Friday to kick the year off in style. And what a big kick off. Jehst, Asaviour & DJ IQ warmed up Room One with a set crammed with old favourites and fresh tunes off new LP Nuke Proof Suit.

The hottest act on road, Plan B, stepped up next for his second visit to Fabric. It never gets boring watching the boy kill it with just sick lyrics and a guitar. From the graphic 'Kidz' through to the twisted 'Sick2Def', his show was flawless and converted a few more unsuspecting ravers to the cause.

Following on from the ever eclectic DJ Yoda (I've never heard the Temptations 'My Girl' in Room One before!), DJ Craze tore the roof off with a set stacked with hip hop classics, crate-diggers, funk breaks & 80's favourites. And then there was the 10 minute routine, back scratching, quadruple turns and all. Pure merkage.
