Mad March Party Madness

BRaP!! Heavy nite @The Mad March Party in the Union...kicked off with a sneak preview screening of the long-awaited Showcase DVD in Cholo, lookin' good!
Your boy kicked off the first hour in the Cooler with DJ Bensun before Krafty Kutz came and rinsed out a big+funky breaks set. Killa even managed to guest on the set. All finished off with a Prodigy-Deekline 'Outer Space' mix ("Your sista's a ho..."). Mad props.

Meanwhile MC Yungun & Mr Thing were rollin out to a disappointing crowd in the Marketplace. Was still wicked having quality UK HipHop holding it down just next door! They were followed by Warwick's own DJ Yoda...my goodness. The boy was playing his trademark mad eclectic set, whilst scratching up film clips on groundbreaking DVD-J's - essentially decks for DVDs!! I managed to check Beverly Hills Cop, Transformers, Crouching Tiger + Richard Pryor. Had to be seen to be believed. Nuts.

While all this was kickin' off, Nicky Blackmarket and MC Det were tearing down the Cooler for near 2 hours with many a sick dubplate + classic rhymes ("Hit 'em high..."). Large. Killa had many a brock, most notably the new Shy FX rollers, X-Ray & Together VIP. Blap!

Bensun and KD followed for the last half hour, and the TKOver was well and truly in session. My DJ caned out bare big tunes, while me and Terra Technique's Ruma went b2b for a heavy rinseout. Good fun. After sayin he weren't gonna MC no more, Det came back to bless the set and fulfill another of my and, especially, Bensun's dreams! Back to back with Det. Laughing...

All in all another one for the books. Hold tight Version who reached, now back from Toronto to smack up UK. Watch out for bare Version-Killa tingz to come. KD tunes...?? Caught bare jokes. Big up Mikey, Deals, all G-Force crew that repped it. Photos to come...
